Welcome to my blog!  Let me tell you a little about myself.

I've been married to my husband for 28 years!  January 6 is our anniversary. It wasn't smart getting married 2 weeks after Christmas because we hardly ever have money to do much for our anniversary! 

I'm a SAHM with one daughter whom I home educate.  She's a spirited tween that keeps this old woman on her toes.  God blessed us with her through adoption after 16 years of infertility.  We were able to literally walk out of the hospital with her after she was born.

Personally, I deal with some ongoing health issues which sometimes get me down, but on the whole I'm usually described as "bubbly" and "funny."  Love schooling my girl whom I refer to as "mija" (my daughter in Spanish) on my blog.  Obviously love blogging, as well as, reading, needlework, studying, singing, acting, and hanging out with friends and family.

Above all, my goal is to "glorify and enjoy God forever!"  I came to know Him when I was 15, but He knew me before the world began.  I thank God for His grace.
