Salt Labyrinth Art Work...and art idea

I found out about the art if Motoi Yamamoto somewhere and really wanted to share it. It's very cool especially the his work with salt! Yup, plain old salt. He makes it anything but plain.
That's just one of his many salt works! He would started working in salt after his sister died from brain cancer. When the display is over, he asks that the salt be returned to the sea. Here's an article about him.
Here's a video of him making one of his pieces. It's really cool to watch.

I think it would be fun to attempt a salt labyrinth for the fun of making art out of a different medium. Or what about using flour instead of salt? It might be fun to do if your studying minataurs and labyrinths or NaCl in chemistry!
Here is Motoi Yamamoto's website if you'd like to see more.

My husband went crazy over this post and came home saying "Did you see what someone linked up to your blog hop!" He dragged me immediately over to the computer to show me this great post (he never gets excited about what people link up by the way). Thank you for linking up to my Enchanted Thursdays Blog Hop this week!
