I haven't couponed for awhile. Things have been really tight financially. You know it's tight when you can't even coupon!
Well, I made a run to CVS this week. Here's what I did.
Dawn, 9-10.3 oz - $0.99
$0.50/1 Dawn Hand Renewal Dish Detergent 01/01/12 P&G Insert (exp 01/31/12)

Then Christmas was on sale for 75% off, so I purchased 3 peppermint candles for $0.49 each, 2 boxes of mini candy canes for $0.32 each and a mini china tea set for $0.49.
My retail total would have been $19.54. I paid $4.57 which means I saved 77%! But wait! I earned $0.50 in ECB as my fall ECB rewards. That means I only paid $4.07 which is actually a 79% savings.
Not as good as my usual FREE, but a nice start back into couponing!
